Pit Bull Tires are a Tire Mart brand product. Tire Mart has been an innovator in the tire industry for 70 years. They are family owned and operated, and are located in the United States. Indeed, Pit Bull Tire tread designs have both United States, and International patents. The thrust of the Pit Bull line of tires is geared toward off road driving; however, the LT Radial products work equally well on the street. The three main classifications of LT Radials are Rocker, Maddog, and Growler.

Rocker LT Radials have a patented tread design of alternating biting patterns for enhanced traction, cleanout, and stability. They incorporate rounded edge tread blocks to aid in reducing noise and tire wear. Complete with an 8 ply rating, these tires incorporate extra deep rim guards that offer unsurpassed wheel lip protection. All Rocker brand tires, in all of their classifications, use the Pit Bull patented Tear It Up rubber compound. Additionally, the tires offer the Pit Bull stepped lug design that enthusiasts have been enjoying since its inception in 2002. Rocker tire design integrates over the shoulder lugs that wrap down the side wall to provide extra strength and traction to the side wall and shoulder area of the tire. Moreover, the shoulder lugs are staggered to help in drag reduction. Standard features include; integrated side wall protectors, gradual sloping divots on tread lugs, stone-kickers, high void treads, reinforced tread blocks, and side wall designs to fit your needs and tastes. The Rocker also comes in in an LT Bias that is specifically designed for rock crawling, and punishing off road conditions.

Maddog Mud Terrain tires offer 3 circumferential groove channels to provide unmatched driving stability. It incorporates the Pit Bull Fang Technology that strengthens the side walls and shoulders, while enhancing traction. Moreover, a benefit of the staggered over the shoulder lug design is reduced drag. This tire features; large, rounded edge tread blocks to enhance stability and handling at high speeds, integrated side wall protectors, and a specialized rubber compound. The tire offers a unique style tread block of varied lugs, edges, and sipes to maximize traction in harsh driving conditions. Staggered center lugs provide increased tire to road contact in adverse weather, while aiding in noise reduction. Additionally, these tires are offered in LT Bias that feature; rim guards, noise resistant technology, deep lugs, innovative sipe design, and a rubber compound that is resistant to cutting, puncturing, and heat.

Pit Bull Tires are also offered in several styles of pulling tire. The original pulling tire, the Pit Bull, is designed to be track ready, with little or no cutting, saving the end user time and money. The pit Bull Rex is an improvement over the original, and provides a 4 ply face, and a 2 ply side wall. Like the original, these tires are ready to use, right out of the box. However, if needed, the tires feature full bar lugs that are easily cut and ground to meet any requirement.
